Hi! My name is Sammy and I am the foodcorps educator at Baldy View Elementary. Foodcorps aims to provide students with knowledge about food, how it grows, where it comes from, and what healthy eating can look like. In Upland, we do this by carefully curating lessons that align with grade-level education goals and incorporate garden exploration. I am excited to teach about nutrition, wellness, and connecting kids to their food source and the earth!
