Principal's Message

Greetings Baldy View Families,
On behalf of the staff at Baldy View Elementary School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! We look forward to a collaborative partnership with you to ensure our students can achieve their highest potential. It is truly an honor to work at such a positive and community-driven school where there is a strong focus on student achievement, well-being, and inclusion. I believe wholeheartedly that each student deserves a quality education and that only happens when we all work together. Along with getting to know each student, I am also excited to begin working with each of you. My hope is that you feel welcomed and choose to participate in your child’s education through volunteering, joining our PTA, or participating in school events throughout the year.
We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

Attends school daily and arrives on time (7:50am), ready for the day’s learning experience

Reads daily to develop a love for reading and improve literacy skills

Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject

Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of their school life
Your child will be coming home with a student planner that contains our schoolwide expectations and other school information so that you and your child can review them together. Last but not least, please connect with us on the Parent Square app so you can continue receiving important updates throughout the school year.
